The reversible tabletop features two different compartment depths—4-3/8" deep or 1-1/2" shallow—allowing educators to easily adapt the setup for different types of sensory materials, including water, sand, soil, loose parts, or small manipulatives. A center drain opening with a removable rubber stopper makes cleanup quick and simple, while the wide base provides excellent stability for active preschoolers.
Beneath the tabletop, a large open storage compartment offers ample space to store sensory supplies, tools, or bins. The open-access design lets children retrieve materials from either side, encouraging independence and self-directed play.
Built from ¾" textured woodgrain maple panels and UV-stabilized polar white HDPE thermoplastic, the table resists fading, mold, mildew, moisture, bacteria, and odors—and won’t chip, rot, delaminate, splinter, or swell. Rust-resistant stainless steel hardware ensures long-term strength, and white panels stay cool to the touch in direct sunlight.
